Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Job Agent. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Job Agent.

1. What Job Agent does

Job Agent discovers job listings, evaluates how well they match the profile and preferences you provide, and — based on the autonomy level you choose — drafts and/or sends job applications on your behalf using your uploaded CV and a generated cover letter.

Job Agent is a tool to assist your job search. It does not guarantee that you will be matched with, contacted by, or hired by any employer, and we are not a party to any employment relationship that may result from an application.

2. Accuracy of your information

You are responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of the information in your profile and uploaded CV. Job Agent is designed to use only information you've explicitly provided or that's present in your uploaded documents — we do not invent qualifications, experience, certifications, salary history, or work authorization on your behalf. It remains your responsibility to review your profile and any generated application materials for accuracy before enabling automatic sending.

3. Autonomy levels and your control

You choose how much autonomy Job Agent has when sending applications:

• Ask first — every application is held for your review before anything is sent.
• Confident auto-send — only high-confidence matches are sent automatically; the rest are held for review.
• Full auto — eligible applications are sent automatically without review.

You can change this setting, or pause the agent entirely, at any time. If you choose a more automatic setting, you accept responsibility for applications sent under that setting, in the same way you would if you had sent them yourself.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Job Agent to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information to employers.
• Use the service to harass, spam, or send unsolicited communications beyond genuine job applications.
• Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the security or proper functioning of the service.
• Use another person's account, profile, or credentials without permission.
• Use the service in a way that violates any applicable law or the terms of any job board, employer portal, or third-party service that Job Agent interacts with.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Third-party services

Job Agent relies on third-party services to function, including Google (sign-in, Gmail sending, AI processing), LinkedIn (sign-in), and job listing sources such as MyJobMag. Your use of features involving these services is also subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party job listings or platforms.

6. No guarantee of outcomes

Job Agent provides the service "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that any job match, application, or generated content will be error-free, that any application will be successful, or that the service will be uninterrupted. Match scores and AI-generated content (such as cover letters) are produced automatically and should be reviewed by you, especially before enabling higher levels of automatic sending.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Job Agent and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including missed job opportunities, application errors, or actions taken by employers in response to applications sent through the service.

8. Account termination

You may stop using Job Agent and request deletion of your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you've violated these Terms or misused the service.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continuing to use Job Agent after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
